Still drawing!

I havn't lost the interest yet! haha This is an accomplishment for me. I practiced bodies some more today and I've noticed small improvements, obviously still not great but getting better and I can at least see what's wrong with what I'm doing.
I started to read Alisa's book, "The Animator's Survival Kit" so hopefully that along with my Ben Caldwell's "Action Cartooning" I can develop my style and start to draw some quality art. HM! We'll see!
For now, back to drawing!

Why are bodies so haaaaaaard :(:(:(:(

I've decided to get back into drawing more often! Yay! But trying to learn how to draw bodies properly without a class or any kind of teacher aside from some books is proving to be a bigger task than I thought. Boo! Everyone I draw ends up look like some deformed creature from Dimention X. However! I am not going to give up, and I can already see small improvements. So lets hope in a little while I can come up with something worth putting up. We'll see.

Well if you keep track of the art I submit then you'll notice the latest slew of them are much better quality than the others. That's because the lovely and talented NakedHotdog is letting me abuse her scanner for my nefarious deeds. Yay for new better drawings, yay for higher quality submissions! Yay for awesome girlfriends! <3

I need to not browse around this site so much. Too much talent, it actually depresses me and makes me want to give up on drawing :< I have so much work to do to even come close to some people on her [NakedHotdog definitly being one of them D:]. BLEH. I'm still going to keep drawing, but I'm just going to cry every time I come on here.

Did I just miss the point when so many people on this site started drawing so much effing Naruto? Jeeeeeez, that's all I saw when I looked around. I just want to see some awesome comic-looking styles, and all I find is Naruto making out with every other male character in that manga.
This must be resolved. This is inspiration enough to draw more and get good enough to contribute to the non-chibi anime, non-naruto-man-makout portion of this site. I'd like to think of it as a service TO THE WORLD.
